 Ileana Botero,
Dip. Biographical Counselling, Dip. Integrative Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, UKCP accredited Psychotherapist, MBACP. She is a Biographical
Counsellor and trainer.
Ileana co-carried the Diploma Course in Biographical
Counselling with Margli Matthews for several years. She
has worked in social therapy in a community for people with
learning disabilities for over 20 years.
 Cristina D’Agostino,
PG Dip. Couns. , Dip.Biographical Counselling, Dip. Biography
Work, CAHSC registered, MBACP.
She is a Biographical Counsellor at Blackthorn Medical Centre
and in private practice in Sussex and London. Initially trained
as a Waldorf teacher, Cristina teaches in the Biography Work
Training in Brazil and runs Biography Workshops. She translated
the book ‘Biographical Work: The Anthroposophical Basis’, by
Gudrun Burkhard.
 Susanna Odlin
Dip.Biographical Counselling, CAHSC registered, MBACP, Cert.
Oasis Group Facilitation.
She is a Biographical Counsellor at Blackthorn Medical Centre
in Maidstone and in private practice. She has been a facilitator
on the Diploma Course in Biographical Counselling and runs
Biography Workshops. Susanna has a background in Waldorf
Kindergarten Pedagogy and has worked within Camphill and as
an independent advocate for vulnerable adults for many years.

Margli Matthews,
PG Dip. Couns, Dip. Biographical Counselling, Cert.
Supervision, MBACP (accred), UKRCP, CAHSC registered. She
is a biographical counsellor, trainer and supervisor with over 30
years experience in adult education and private practice.
A former faculty member of Emerson College and the Centre
for Social Development, Margli has directed and designed the
training in biographical counselling for the last 19 years. Initially,
she co-directed the training with Anita Charton. In 1997 Margli
and Anita co-founded the Biography and Social Development Trust.
Margli practices as a biographical counsellor in Sussex and London and offers training
courses and workshops in many countries throughout the world. She is a contributor to
the book Lifeways and co-author of Ariadne’s Awakening, a book concerned with a new
consciousness of the feminine and masculine principles in our lives.
Guest Contributors and External Moderator
Throughout the training, many counsellors, medical doctors, consultants and artists
contribute out of their professional experience. In line with BACP requirements, the course
also benefits from an external moderator.
