Year three of the Diploma Course in Biographical Counselling

The focus and theme of this year is the question of vocation: the moral and ethical path of the biographical counsellor and what stands behind and informs this path of service.
The year aims:
-to widen and consolidate understanding of the practice and process of biographical counselling through the study of specialist themes and the sharing of students’ experiences met on their path of development, research and clinical practice
-to deepen understanding of the role of biographical counselling in the context of the wider profession
-to provide the opportunity for students to assess and critique their capacities and creativity in clinical work
-to encourage creativity and responsibility in the profession and awareness of the role of research and continuing professional development
