Reading the Dream:
Unveiling Human Nature: Awakening to Karma
with Dr Maurice Orange
20 – 22 January 2012
The human biography is a multi dimensional composition. Both earthly and cosmic
forces influence and shape its nature and unfolding. Increasingly, we feel the desire
to take responsibility for and direct our life story. An understanding of the forces at
work can inform the capacity to make sense of, recognise and accompany change in
human biography and appreciate the impact of karma in our lives.
The weekend aims to:
-explore the human constitution as a key to biographical insights
-consider human biography in the light of karma and reincarnation
The theme will be explored through talks and conversations on the theme, detailed study of one or two participant’s biography and interactive exercises in observation, and the practice of basic diagnostic skills. Eurythmy will accompany the theme.
This course is a weekend module within Year 3 of the Diploma Course in Biographical Counselling. It is open to biographical counsellors, doctors and therapists who are interested in exploring anthroposophic dognostic considerations of the human being in the light of reincarnation and karma.
Maurice Orange, is a anthroposophic doctor and former medical director of Park Attwood Clinic until its closure in 2010. He was a pupil of Ate Koopmans, who developed a practical methodology of karma research indicated by Rudolf Steiner – which he called ‘practical study of man.’ Maurice has given a number of workshops and has lectured extensively on the subject.
