Yvette Dellsperger

Yvette Dellsperger worked for 13 years at Forum Altenberg, an anthroposophical centre for adult education in Switzerland, as centre administrator. She is a practising potter and is trained in biography work. In 2005 she moved to England and since then works at Emerson College in the administration, with the students in the Orientation Year and as a pottery teacher.
Margli Matthews

Margli Matthews (Post-Graduate Diploma Counselling, Diploma Biographical
Counselling, MBACP (accred.), UKRC Registered Counsellor, CAHSC Registered) is a biographical
counsellor, trainer and supervisor with over 25 years experience
in adult education and private practice. A former faculty member
of Emerson College and the Centre for Social Development, she is
co-founder of the Biography and Social Development Trust and director
of the Training in Biographical Counselling. She leads training
courses and workshops and contributes to many courses and conferences
throughout the world on biographical, social and therapeutic themes.
She is a contributor to Lifeways and co-author of Ariadne's Awakening,
a book concerned with a new consciousness of the feminine and masculine
principles in our lives.

Susanne Odlin

Susanne Odlin has been working in the field of Social Care for
over 10 years. Initially trained as a Waldorf Kindergarten teacher
she is currently working as a crisis advocate for people with learning
disabilities. Much of her current work has been inspired by her
experience of living and working in a Camphill Community. The importance
of working on one's own biography whilst living in community has
led her to biography work as a path of development and the training
in biographical counselling. Susanne is a biographical counsellor
in private practice as well as working for Pembrokeshire Counselling
Service.
George Perry

George Perry, member of the UK College of Family Mediators, Diploma
in Conflict Resolution and Mediation, is a practising mediator in
organization, family or couple conflict. He has nearly twenty years
experience in management development and skills training in both
public and private sector organisations. He is often asked to particularly
focus on the improvement of communications at all levels, from team-working
to process improvement, from change management to conflict resolution.
He is also an experienced facilitator of biography workshops and
trainer in counselling skills.
Previously George co-founded and
managed a nationally acclaimed initiative for young unemployed people
in the West Country and later became a trustee of the charity. He
has also been a trustee of an anthroposophical medical practice.

Midge Whitelegg

Midge Whitelegg PhD, FNIMH. Midge Whitelegg is a senior lecturer at the university of Central Lancashire, a practising medical herbalist and biographical counsellor. She spent a number of years on the council of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, with two years as president, and served as co-chair of the research and development committee of the Prince of Wales' Foundation for Integrated Health. She was a trustee of the local Steiner School in Lancaster. She has undertaken training in Goethean science and works with this methodology running plant study and biography worshops.
Jennie Best

Jennie Best spent 15 years with The Economist Intelligence Unit and later the Economist Newspaper working in administrative jobs where she was able to make use of her love of languages and travel. After leaving The Economist she took a sabbatical Foundation Year at Emerson College and since then became increasingly involved in anthroposophical activities. She did the Waldorf Teacher Training and has worked as a class assistant in the North London Waldorf School. From 2003 to 2006 she was a student in the Training in Biographical Counselling run by the Trust. For the past 9 years Jennie has worked part-time in the office at Rudolf Steiner House.
The Biography and Social Development Trust had approximately 60
members from several different countries.
